Liebe Mitbürgerinnen und Mitbürger,
die Jungen Nationaldemokraten, die Nachwuchsorganisation der NPD, hat bei der Stadt Tübingen einen Antrag für eine öffentliche Versammlung am 21.Juli dieses Jahres in der Altstadt eingereicht. Die Stadt wird alle rechtlichen Möglichkeiten ausschöpfen, um dies zu verhindern. Die Erfahrung anderer Städte zeigt jedoch, dass wir möglicherweise gezwungen sein werden, den Antrag der Jungen Nationaldemokraten zu genehmigen.
Tübingen ist eine weltoffene und tolerante Stadt, die keinen Platz für fremdenfeindliche und ewiggestrige Parolen hat! Tübingen und seine Universität freuen sich über ihre Mitbürgerinnen und Mitbürger aus aller Welt. Dies ist die Botschaft, die wir den Jungen Nationaldemokraten am 21.Juli entgegen stellen wollen.
Ich lade Sie daher herzlich ein, mit dem Leiter des Kulturamtes, Herrn Dr. Setzler, und meinem Referenten, Herrn Narr, zu besprechen, wie wir, Tübinger Vereine, Kulturschaffende, Kirchen, Parteien, am 21. Juli eine positive Botschaft aus Tübingen senden können. Vielleicht gelingt es uns gemeinsam, wie in Horb geschehen, dafür zu sorgen, dass den Jungen Nationaldemokraten die Lust vergeht, nach Tübingen zu kommen.
